Not to hijack here- but speaking of Johnson and not hearing or seeing anything about Lima- is Lima banged up?Purdy was so good under pressure yesterday, not by freshman standards, but by any standard. That was the most impressive thing. He was instrumental in keeping the defense rested when I'm not sure who would play in the middle if Jamahl Johnson would need a breather. I don't know if he came out for a single defensive play.

He's a natural. It's impressive for any QB to be able to do that but to do it as an 18 year old is incredible
Only if your team wins 10 games in a power 5 conference.
Back a step from what? Next year with those two plus Purdy with a good OL? Likely a step back, but still sufficient.Once we lose Butler and DM does our offense go back a step?
I think the Brock kid from Quincy will fill in well for DM not sure who's going to fill in for Butler's spot yet though.Once we lose Butler and DM does our offense go back a step?
I think the way that he hung in the pocket on all those blitzes and delivered under pressure might have been the most impressive part of the game.

Montgomery seems like a finish what you start kind of guy, I'm not so sure he is guaranteed to leave. We will see what happens.I might be misunderstanding what you're saying but there's no way both DM and Butler don't leave for the draft this year.

Slow start with his injury. He’s not in CBS most recent 1st round mock (not surprising for an RB in the current NFL) but hey I’m holding on to anything right now.
