They will figure it out. They just need to wait to do that until after our game.

Wow, social network, especially twitter posts can be taken soo many ways..... I can see how this reporter took it but I could also see no friction at all...... Kind of feel bad for Strong he is a great coach but will definitely be gone next year. I am on the same boat as CW, Saban is the next Longhorn's coach, they will offer too much money to say no and after the 2 lose season he will go through and potentially no playoff, why would he not jump ship.....

Isn't that kinda what highly ranked freshman do? They're so used to having so much talent that they don't need to prepare. It's the job of the upper class men to get that out of them during fall camp. If these freshmen aren't working hard enough, its the job of the captains to correct that, not call them out to the media.

Aww. Feel so bad for all of 'em. I especially like the freshman who calls out other players for hiding behind twitter, while he's on twitter. Brilliant.

Unforunately the world looks down on hazing these days, so it's tougher to break egos.

Texas preps have so many options now to play for a Texas school in the SEC or for other Texas schools in the Big 12 that are competing for a playoff spot and theyre guaranteed a game or two in their home state, so rebuilding UT isn't the most attractive place to go anymore. A decade ago they didn't have to compete with Baylor, TCU or really even A$M. They would win most of those battles without much resistance.

No doubt A&M to the SEC and the constant SEC pumping by ESPN has hurt along with the emergence of Baylor and TCU. Still, Texas can still get tons of great players. I just think Strong is a bit if a mismatch with UT. I think he needs to go back somewhere that isn't getting the prima donnas and gets mostly overlooked guys with a chip on their shoulder. Saban or Chip Kelly will be next with a crazy contract.

Just heard it reported on FoxSports that Chip Kelly has already expressed back-channel interest in UT's coaching position even though ESPN reported seconds earlier via a rep that Strong's job is secure. Let it burn...
