Our young linebackers have got to start making more plays, especially Ebel. Kooper needs to start wrapping up on his tackles. He made a huge hit in the Houston game on a running back, but only used his shoulder and the back just bounced off of him.

I'm usually very pessimistic, but I think we win this game and cover. Rocco looked better throwing the ball last week and the offensive line is beginning to get things together. I think the offense is going to start clicking. Woody mentioned on the podcast that Rocco spent some time with the trainers to get his shoulder right. His throws looked a lot more accurate last week.

I'm not sure why, but I have some confidence going into this game. This game is definitely a prove-it game. If we want to be considered a playoff team, this is a game we should win.

If Brezina can play even a quarter of the defensive snaps, that will help a ton.

Whoever is at LB, they have to start making some plays, can't have guys whiffing on sacks and taking bad angles all season. Brezina is physically talented, but he struggles at times too. Heacock needs to work some magic to help take some of the pressure off of the LB group. We also need guys like Tyler Onyedim, Joey Peterson and other D-lineman to start stepping up. Onyedim has been pretty quiet this season.

Oddly, the close we get the more convinced I am that we'll win. I'm sensing a Heacock masterclass incoming and the offense getting us out to a quick lead through the air and putting the pressure on WVU.

This will be our toughest game until the the two to end the season. WV runs the ball very well, and will keep running it until you stop their run. Last week against Ok. State they ran the ball 65 times and only threw 19 passes the entire game.

Stop the run and force their QB to beat us, no turnovers and we cannot allow them to get out to a 10 point lead and let their crowd get into the game. So start fast for ISU and keep adding on.

When the best offense you've played so far is Baylor... they haven't been tested. Honestly, it would of helped some if Iowa wasn't such dognuts on that side of the ball.

This feels like the type of game that if we can survive the first half we will adjust and pull away in the second. Yes, WV likes to run the ball but we've also shown that we aren't afraid to put guys in the box and play man to man. We need to come out pass first and attack WV's weakness which is their secondary. If we put WV behind by a couple scores they will have to adjust their game plan which works in our favor. WV has a really good atmosphere but we've already played in the toughest one we will see all season, so our guys should be ready for that. With that being said, nothing would surprise me in this one.

Where are the sharps on this one.
Probably wont know where they are for sure until friday night/saturday morning. Guessing they are more than okay with letting public money bring that spread down, then they can hammer it Friday night into saturday morning

This feels to me like the NDU game. They ran up and down the field on us between the 20's until the 2nd half. Turns out that NDU is pretty damn good team. While they're still learning, our linebackers have grown since then and we know we can bring down the safeties to help. Trust in Heacock. I'm not worried about our offense. As you said, if we attack their secondary it will open up the run game. 35-28 the good guys.

Some of that is Greene prefers to take off on passing plays. So while they might only throw it 19 times, they called 25-30 passing plays. Greene wants nothing more than to see an overcommitted pass rush and take off up the middle. Our LBs are going to have to play well because he will break the first tackle.

**** it, let's have Big Citrus spy him. Have fun breaking that first tackle.

I think we will probably spy more than we will blitz.
