Seems a crazy line but must indicate how bad UNLV is because it's not a call out to us being good right now.
I guess since it is the betting capital of the USA peeps will bet on it but outside of that it's a game nationally that no one cares about.

Is there a way for UNLV to have negative points? If not, I don’t see how ISU can score enough to possibly cover that spread.
First road game and UNLV gave Arizona State a fight for 3 quarters. Normally that is pretty easy bet on UNLV. Given how we’ve looked the last 2 weeks, that’s really a no brainer.
Agree. If we put it altogether fine and good, but when CMC always says we have to win in the margins, he means it. We should never be favored by 30 over anyone on our schedule. Especially UNI or Drake. Never have been that type of team. And that's okay. Just win, baby!
I thought the same exact thing week 1 against UNI with the 34.5 points or wherever that one was.
I don't usually bet on ISU games, but will be all over UNLV +30. If we cover, we'll all feel pretty good, even if it's with lighter pockets. I'm not going to Vegas, so...
I think it’ll be a bounce back game for the offense, they’ll vent some frustration on UNLV.
Seems like one of those games when it looks like our offense is the worst in all of football but then somehow remembers, puts it all together, and puts up 56.
