Hope this isn't a repeat, if so please merge. After Saturday's games were completed, I got to rethinking my original pre-season prediction of 7-5 for ISU. I could see our guys legitimately win 4 out of the last 6 reg season games, to put them at 8-4. I think this week at OSU is winnable, as is KU, Baylor, and either Texas or WV. Heck even OU has proven to be vulnerable. Just wondering what others' thoughts might be. Go Clones!

if we get Okie State I think 7-5 is what we are looking at, 6-6 if we split OSU/Baylor, if we lose both of them who knows...

If our O-Line blocks somebody we can win every game but as you see they only do that about every 3rd conference game.

I have no idea how many games we are gonna win I am only thinking of beating OSU now.

The great thing about being a fan is that we are allowed to look ahead to November 24th. And As said fan, I feel like we will win 3 of our games headed up to that date. (Okie Lite, Baylor, and Kansas.) The Mountaineers then come to Ames, IA on a blustery November evening and we kick the pine tar out of them. This is why being a fan is fun. Now if Jake Knott is thinking this I would want to slap him, slap him then run far, far away.

It sucks to lose close games. We can look back on legit chances to win both of those games. But, i dont have any trouble saying that K-State and Tech are just better than ISU this year. They both play at a high level consistently from play to play. ISU has potential to play at a high level and can beat any team on the schedule. The Cyclones just dont play at a consistently high level. With that said, I am happy to be sitting at 4-2. I expect ISU to be 6-2 when Oklahoma comes to Ames. Beyond that, I have no idea.
