I just can't see the State wanting to battle this out in court. Plaintiffs hold all the cards, no way they shouldn't get almost everything they ask.
They're going to claim Qualified Immunity. WATCH.

What I would love to know is how far up the chain of command did this cluster **** go?I know this gets passed on to taxpayers and such, but get them for every dime you can. What an absolute, unabated joke this all has turned out to be.
Iowa State is a public institution and we still do not know what the WBB settlement was.Agreed. Being its government agencies. Someone will be able to open records request and it will be disclosed at some point if it comes to a settlement.
Well the director of the Department of Public Safety got mentioned in the lawsuit. He reports directly to the governor. What I would love to know is how far up the chain of command did this cluster **** go?
Who decided to green light this disaster?
I've always thought that there has to be a political angle here. Some elected official(s) who would then use the results to run on a "tough on crime/gambling" type message.

From the reports I read a bit ago. Sanger was told to stop when he told his boss what he was doing. Then when he didn’t and came back with some meat in the bones, his boss green lighted it and they kept going. It never talked about if they went higher up and /or when whey did. What I would love to know is how far up the chain of command did this cluster **** go?

I hope they all sue the state and get a bunch of money and “Give the State the Bird.”Well the director of the Department of Public Safety got mentioned in the lawsuit. He reports directly to the governor.
