lol it popped up on my recommended watch list, and after suffering through it, I figured some on here would also enjoy the kick in the nuts.
Now I’m all pissed off about those picked up flags at K-State. ******* ********

Yeah, it’s always a great trip down memory lane to see the Big XII officials’ Manhattan retirement gift to Bill Snyder again … and then he didn’t even retire until after one more season!

Although it might not be the worst of the bunch, I still have no idea WTF is reasoning for the Hutchinson penalty ... and if it is a violation, why it would negate a TD instead of being enforced on the kickoff.
The explanation I heard at the time was, it was his High step, that happened at the 3 yard line before scoring. So the play was dead there, supposedly.
He took 1 high step, There were at the time and still are WAY bigger taunts and longer high steps that I have never seen called.
Frankly, it is one of the most ridiculous calls I have ever witnessed.
That taunting call on Hutch was egregious… but it was great that he ended up getting the TD on that drive a few plays later!

That KSU game just pissed me off all over again. Incredible.
The “good” thing is all of these make the MSU elite eight game seem like fantastic officiating.
The bad thing is the perhaps worst one, the game Niang got called for a fouls because a KU player tackled him and was laying on top of him, isn’t even included. That was definitely a game where the refs were in a mission to win it for KU.

At the time, all the smoke was that Snyder was retiring at the end of the 2017 season and that was their last home game. The conference did all they could to send the hall of famer out with a win.
It made the ISU comeback win in his true last game in 2018 that much sweeter! I literally had no disdain for that man until the 2017 screw job.
