If there are any Cyclones coming down/over/up to Waco and wondering around Floyd Casey for this Sat's game here is the Google Maps link of exactly where the Austin, DFW and Houston ISU Alumni clubs will be setting up:

If you were there in 2011, basically the same place. Turn right off of the main Valley Mills Dr and come up Clay Ave. along the NW side of the stadium. Lot J is NOT well marked so north of the track & field paved lot is the creek bridge and then the Lot J grass where we are trying to set up as early before their 2p allowance as we can. Yes, the driveways get unchained only 4 hours before kick-off ... and you thought ISU's 6-hr policy sucked

Unlike our big ISU-Texas paid, all-inclusive tailgate lot last year in Austin this is all just good ol' BYOT, both food and drink. Just pay your $10 lot fee and pull up as close as they'll let you and wheel over your cooler.

And, YES, alcohol is "casually" allowed now. Last time we even had Baylor's president, Ken Starr, drive his golf cart up to welcome us ... with beer cans all in hand. The silent rule around this Baptist school is to cover up your can/bottle with a koozie and obviously MODERATION since their campus police there have little tolerance and can make you dump everything (I've seen it happen). No tailgating after the game. You're expected to pack up immediately. If you want to celebrate (or commiserate) post-game, go downtown to Waco's Warehouse District on Franklin and 2nd where there are some decent restaurants and a some great bars like big Cricket's with 107 taps on the wall (last call is 2:00a).

Despite the Bears best ranking in decades there still are a few rows of $53 tickets left in upper Section U behind us from Baylor's ticket office online or some as low as $35 from StubHub.com (as of today, Monday).

Oh, I see Baylor folks have invited Cyclone fans over to one of their big parties:

Take them up on it! Baylor tailgaters have been some of the most-welcoming fans you'll meet in Texas. You may bump into a few more loud bandwagon-hoppin' crazies with the Bears being highly ranked this year, but not nearly as bad as the Longhorns or TCU folk last year. This is about a 10-min walk from our Lot J along the 29th St. tailgate lots (NE stadium) over to Dutton.
