ISU vs. OU available on FSN NW for Dish Network Customers

Because of the fight between Dish and Fox, most of the FSN channels are currently blocked on Dish. One of the few that is not blocked will be broadcasting the Iowa State game next saturday live. FSN NW (channel 426) will have the game next weekend. The only other choice is CSN Chicago, but they will be joining in progress after the Bulls game. My guide is currently showing the ISU game on several FSN channels, but the only one that is not blocked currently is FSN NW. I'm leaving for Italy on Sunday, so trying to set up my DVR to tape this has been a real challenge.

Dish needs to get this squared away fast. I don't watch Fx that much so that's no big deal to me, but I watch my Fox Sports Alternate Channels a ton for baseball and College football.

I wasn't too happy when i went to my DVR and realized the league didn't record because of all this mess.

Even though it shows up in the guide it will be blacked out. At least that is what happened to the games last weekend. I would make sure u actually see a big 12 game this weekend on one of those channels before you count on that working.

This. Last week on some of the HD alternate sports channels in the 440's it said Georgia at Colorado but it was still blacked out. This whole thing is ridiculous. I can't watch football on Saturdays or Sons of Anarchy on FX Tuesdays

Is anyone getting the extra channels that were promised while Fox Sports is gone? comcast, ESPN Classic, etc. I am not getting them. I haven't cared enough to call since there was nothing I really wanted to see. But if the OU game is gonna be on then I need to get that squared away.

I went to check ahead to see if I was actually going to get the game on Comcast and surprisingly enough, I do... but the description was a blast from the past.

You'll get it on Comcast, but you'll probably only see the 4th quarter. If you look at the time, its being joined in progress after the bulls game at 8:30.

I had the same thing happen last weekend with the KU/Baylor game....from what I can tell, it's going to be blacked out on the HD channels, but available in SD on 426. I guess I'll feel a lot more confident in that theory if the Mizzou/Colorado game is available tomorrow.

Update: Looks like this morning FSN has blacked out the Mizzou/Colorado game for tonight on all available channels...I would assume the same will happen to the ISU game next weekend. Looks like the only option for Dish customers is to watch the Joined in Progress broadcast at 8:30 on Comcast Chicago. Ridiculous.

Now! This was the first week I ever missed "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." I was not happy.

I was able to pick up the Baylor/TT game which was an FSN broadcast on one of the 400 channels today and there were a ton of games on the 9660 channels. Hopefully this is a good sign for ISU/OK next week, but according to the "guide" I don't think we get any of the channels it is listed under. It may have to be a sports bar night.
