I just had sliced tomatoes from our garden, bacon from our hog and two fried eggs from our chickens for lunch. Mmmmmmmmm.......hobby farming is tasty.

Our first ones we picked were bitter but the extra watering has helped on the last bunch we picked. Can't buy a rain, have a crack in our garden an inch wide.

Straight BT is always the way to go. No lettuce, no ******** like “avacados” or “cucumbers” on that **** either.

I used to work for a large seed company that shall remain nameless. At the end of long, hot, dirty days in the field we had to hand pick burlap bags full of sweet corn, then step aside while the gloating owner doled it out for the air-conditioned softies who worked in the office. I'll never look upon an ear of sweet corn again thinking it's something I've craved since the summer before. NOPE.

never heard the sweet corn and BLT combination until this year. Is it similar to cinnamon rolls and chili? or just that the sweet corn and tomatoes are ready around the same time?

Bacon, onion, garden fresh tomato with miracle whip would be my last meal if I ever find myself on death row.

You didn't have to urinate after a long hot day?
