but that Wave was fun as hell. Haven't been in one for many years, and the one last night kept going and going and going. It warmed my bones up a little and it seemed like the crowd was a little more fired up after that.

Also, the student section throwing those towels was fun. All around good night at the Jack. Wish more of our friends had shown up, though.

How about that rabbit on the 2nd half kick off if we could get that to happen again it would be sweet. The rabbit had some wheels.

I don't remember the last time that many entertaining events have happened at Jack Trice.

  1. Dominating On-Field Performance
  2. The Wave
  3. Kick-Off Rabbit
  4. Band doing the "Single Ladies" dance
  5. Student Section towel fight.
All around high spirits for the people that bothered to show up. Hopefully the wimps that didn't want to brave the cold last night get the message and get out for OK State.

Yep, It's embarrassing that we can't get more people for a homecoming game. But it was a very fun game

Having that wave get going was awesome to watch. It picked up big time in the SW corner the second or third time the band tried to start it up. It also looked neat as hell.

My 5 year olds loved it. I was like, did we timewarp back to 1985?

Got the wave AND the towel throwing on video. I'll get them edited and posted on youtube soon.

I really hope you resist the urge to do it some sarcastic "how much ISU fans care about football" manner. It was clear that game was pretty much won when all of that went down.

I was in the student section. Participating and cheering with everybody else. If you don't want the videos, that's fine. I'll post them to my facebook.

Yea, on second thought that was probably a little of a cheap shot...I know how easy it can be to take things out of context sometimes though. Appreciate that somebody got video of a great night in Jack Trice, regardless of who was behind the camera.

My only complaint on it is the band was getting way to loud trying to start it up when ISU had their backs to that end zone at 3rd and 6. Band needs to pay attention to what going on the field a little better!

The problem there from my four years in the band is this...1/4 of the band will be well aware of this and trying to keep others around them in line and another 1/4 of the band knows or cares little to nothing about football and just does whatever is entertaining to them when they're not playing. The rest of the band falls somewhere in between, mostly not wanting to rock the boat by saying something either way.

How many times have we had a rabbit or cat on our field. Seems like it's happened a few times.

Can't believe that little guy got through all that maheim. I loved the put the TD sign up on the scoreboard when he hit the north endzone. That was classic.
