Saw some of the women walking around Jack Trice on Saturday and Jadda was in a walking boot. Anyone have any info on this?

Somebody tell us it's not the same foot and it's an ankle twist or something.

Want to hear "Oh, it's the left foot and she just stepped on it wrong, no biggie."

Lucky enough is that she has time to heal before the start of the non conference play. This will make the team develop some more options at the point position. Durr and Starks could both back up Kidd at the 1. Maybe this is just a precaution for Jadda to keep that foot protected

As stated we will find out more on Thursday. If she is in a boot though this is not good news. She has had almost a year to heal and if she is hurt again I would not count on her for major minutes.

If Jadda can't go (at least at the beginning of the season) then I suspect Starks will be thrown into the fire. I think Kidd is capable of playing backup minutes at PG, but I don't see her as a 25-30 minute option there, especially since that pulls her away from her strengths.

I think you’re right. If the season starts without Jadda on the court than Starks will be there. I think Starks is the only one who has actually played any PG in HS, right? She is a versatile player who can do it, IMHO.

You want Jadda on the court right away, but this could force Starks to gain some valuable experience leading the team. Kidd is always a viable option as the 1 and if necessary Durr could step in for some backup minutes.
