How bout this guy!! He is an exciting runner and very explosive and shifty. I like SJ as well but I think White should get a fair amount of the carries as well. had about 150yds this week. Should of last week as well, minus 2 HOLDING calls. Looks very promising.

His open field speed is pretty eye opening. Haven't had a lot of guys create space like that for ISU with the guys chasing them.

He's been really big for us this year. Even more important that he has stepped up with Shontrelle being injured. I feel confident with both of these guys getting lots of handoffs this year.

+1 the oline is AWEFUL
Oline hasn't helped, either have the refs. Calling back two of his touchdowns, missing a horsecollar call, and a couple facemasks. Guys been getting abused out there.

Not to turn this into another ref thread, White is eye-opening fast out there. He needs to be on the field, and we need to get our RBs into the screen game. Also why no wildcat this year? We did it with Shontrelle and Arob, why not Shontrelle and White?

I would just like to point out that this is the fifth thread titled "James White" since September 12th.

Maybe he deserves his own thread.
Hell ya, when was the last time we had a 76 yard run after two penalty long TD runs the week before. He is fast in the open. Why not pass it to him downfield? Maybe someone should post the three runs in a thread to show we actually have someone who can take it to the house.

There was an obvious hold on the 76 yard TD run against Baylor that we didn't get flagged for. Nice to get away with one finally.

White sure did look fast streaking down the sidelines!

Are there people that are doubting White's ability to break a big run?

We really missed SJ in this game. White is FAST and can bust some big runs but he struggles to wiggle thru small spaces to get the tough yards. That is what SJ is so good at. He takes no gains and gets us 3-4 yards. 2 and 6 is much better than 2nd and 10. We had to many of those and thus the seven 3 and outs. Hopefully he can get healthy soon.
