What? You mean that Prohm realizes that he needs to recruit players? I wasn't sure.

But I thought Iowa State wasn't recruiting until next week? That's what I was told anyways.

There is no better time to capture heightened fan support or recruit interest than right after a coaching change, especially when you're already looking towards a likely stellar year. I would expect to see us make some quick inroads on some similar type of quick-impact players for 2016 and 17.

MM will be a senior after next season. If NN turns out to be what we are hoping for Prohm and crew have a lot to offer some bigs who want to play on a winning team in 16-17.

Makes sense to go aggressively after a number of JC's and Transfers out of the gate. Having 6-7 open scholarships Prohm will want to balance the Chart and not be forced to rely on Freshman in 2016. As of today I'd anticipate 3-4 JC/Transfers and 3 Freshman in 2016.

My guess is that Monte is probably gone after this year if he is considered a first rounder.

Yeah, I'm happy that they're out recruiting, but JUCO SG wouldn't be first priority on my list. They're going to return Cook, Thomas, Noshowiak, Babb in the back court. In the front court it's just Burton and Tsalmpouris. They're going to have 7 scholarships to give (we shouldn't hold out hope for Morris). I would go:

1. Transfer PF/C
2. JUCO PF/C
3. JUCO PF/C
4. HS PF/C
5. HS SF
6. JUCO PG
7. HS PG

Sorry but I thought Prohm would sit around with players and watch NBA games this week

Isn't Burton only 6'4? He's a guard/sometimes 3 isn't he? Not front court.

It's pretty shocking that they're recruiting and to top it off not listening to the recruiting gurus on here.
