Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but does anyone know if Noel is okay?

I think he left the game late and didn’t return, correct?

He did leave but came back a few plays later and made a catch. He did not return a punt after he was dinged up though.

X is such a badass. Does anyone know how truly fast he is. I think that is the only thing that could possibly hold him back for the next level.

I think that he has a place on an NFL roster. He's really good with the ball in his hands and catches well. His combine 40 will determine where/if he gets drafted. I feel like he's a later round pick.

I think Lazard's success will make it easier for a bigger, stronger ISU receiver to get a look from the NFL. I think X is 3rd or 4th round. I would love for the Vikings to grab him. He'd be awesome to mix in with Jefferson and Thielen.

What you're saying is true, I think, if he were to have come out this past season. He has clearly worked on his body this offseason and looks like a completely different player. I'm not sure what kind of pure speed he has, but his ability to separate is and run clean routes is elite. I'm guessing as of now he'd be a middle rounds guy with chances of getting up to 2nd round, without really knowing what this years WR class looks like.

Cyclones have been running well at the combines lately. So I would suspect he is a mid 4.4 type of guy. If he measures at 6-3 and runs well he will have a chance to go in the second round. Maybe higher.

I don’t think he even went out for a play after that (it was the third down drop that led to a field goal that he was kind of holding on to them). And he made like four or five catches after that, including a touchdown catch. I think he’s fine.
I agree. I am just saying those things can stay sore for a while if he broke one. The adrenaline might have gotten him through the game but it could be a nagging issue. I am guessing he's fine but given how important he is to our offense, having him banged up would obviously be a worry.

I figured he maybe just strained an ab muscle. He stretched pretty damn far. Im old and my ribs started cramping just watching that.

I don’t know about his 40 time, but he’s got amazing game speed. That doesn’t necessarily translate in a draft, but it does when on a team.

I’d be surprised if he wasn’t drafted somewhere through. He’s got good height, decent size, good hands, good speed and was a highly regarded JUCO that came out and had two All Big 12 seasons (and probably will be a third) and borderline all-American seasons. I’m sure he’ll find a place somewhere. I don’t know what would really hold him back from a team taking a shot on him (Lazard was speed, for example and Butler, who still got drafted in the 4th, was his hands).
