Surprised not to see some mention of Woody's post-scrimmage interview from today. One of the best, most engaging interviews I've seen from camp. If you haven't checked it out on cyclones.tv, it's a must see.

Sidebar: Anyone know what Woody's major is? He should be in some sort of media program. The guy is fun to listen to, and I'd love to hear him talk ISU/local sports in the DM market someday.

I had heard Pre-Med at one time.

Really good interview. And some interesting insights. For instance, he compares us to the Denver Broncos who ran hard for several plays, then Elway would throw for 70 yards. I liked the comments about how hard the offense is making the defense work in practice because of their depth at RB. And it was interesting that he refers to Jeremiah George as our third linebacker, right next to Jake and AJ.

I always enjoy listening to Woody during interviews. He had a great interview after the Okie State game last year as well as couple others during post game shows. He has very good interview skills.

Jeff is going right now for Kinesiology. He is thinking about going pre-med. He wants to go into physical therapy, but might want to go deeper into medicine. I have always tried to get him into some sort of broadcasting...simply because he has had so much experience with interviews. He has done them since a jr. in high school. During his red-shirt year, you could tell his lack of experience on a "larger" level, so I/we tried to keep him in the background and not do as much or as many interviews.
The more educated he gets, the more confidence he has, and the more he shows it. "So PROUD to be his pop"!

I need to log on more often as I didn't know that "Pops" Woody was a CF poster. Your boy is a helluva football player and speaks his mind in interviews, which makes him very fun to watch and listen to. He'd be an entertaining broadcaster, but I'm sure he'll succeed in whatever line of work he pursues.
