He is not in line to play in year two, and likely recruited over. Wish him best luck this is a win win move.Wtf! So what exactly is going on now? Guys show up in the fall and if they aren't good enough to break the rotation as an 18 year old then they're done?
I thought Hamilton was in line to get alot of minutes once Jones and Gilbert were out of eligibility and he was redshirtig this year to save him for 4 here.
Is this a surprise to you? Athletes have a very limited time to play college ball. If they feel that a better situation exists for them elsewhere, then go get it. Wish them nothing but the best.Wtf! Hopefully it was just TJ being honest and has a plan in place for these scholarships. Just waiting to see if Omaha stays.Wtf! So what exactly is going on now? Guys show up in the fall and if they aren't good enough to break the rotation as an 18 year old then they're done?

IMO Naz is a bad example to use for this. He played some as a freshman and a ton as a sophomore.Big time program adapting to the new ways of college basketball. Not going to be many more Naz Longs that aren’t good enough immediately and develop over time. Good luck to Jelani, but we got a good thing going.
For every guy that's a bust though we are jsut throwing guys like Hinson and Jayden Nunn to the curb also. It's going to happen very soon where one of these 18 year olds we just cut develops into an all conference player somewhere else.Big time program adapting to the new ways of college basketball. Exactly this. We are pretty stacked at guard next year with Lipsey, Gilbert and Jones. There aren't many minutes left to go around. The more shocking part is people that are shocked by turnover in the offseason, especially by players that weren’t playing.
Had some good offers hopefully TJ has something in the works.
Gone are the days where the scholarship chart by class matters. When you have a portal full of guys you aren't too worried about spacing the sholarships out.For every guy that's a bust though we are jsut throwing guys like Hinson and Jayden Nunn to the curb also. Nobody thought he would play next year. I think the information I was given was he could be in line for a starting role in 2026.Exactly this. We are pretty stacked at guard next year with Lipsey, Gilbert and Jones. There aren't many minutes left to go around.
The attention span measured in nano seconds and short/long term memory issues are a growing epidemic unfortunately. If you pay close attention you’ll see the same conversations by the same people with same reactions repeated over and over and over again. Each instance treated like a new first time discovery ignoring known information …..it’s mind blowing. The more shocking part is people that are shocked by turnover in the offseason, especially by players that weren’t playing.
We will have an occasional one, most likely a big, but this is no longer a developmental program with the way college sports works in portal age. Get used to losing freshmen when staff recognizes they aren’t better than what we can get In portal.Wish him the best. Thought he had high upside as a long guard - we'll see how he does elsewhere.
Yes I would have. Because I watched the gamesIf in 2024 you would have been patient with Naz more power to you.
