He may have been told that he wasn't fast enough to be a LB at this level. I have no idea. If he has the ability I really wish he would have stayed. Great reresentative for ISU and he'll always be a part of a great win.

Isn't Hampton a DI FCS school? I doubt Schwartz would have been adequate as a BCS school LB -- lack of speed.


That may be, but our linebackers last year weren't the fastest. I'm sure that a former running back is/was faster than Jesse Smith. No disrespect intended.

There is a reason he ended up at Hampton. If our coaches thought he could help us ANYWHERE, I'm sure they would have kept him here.

If he was worthy of a spot anywhere on ISU's team....I am sure they would have made the move and kept him
