I don't know how many of you have seen the offensive line vs defensive line footage from the Cyclones.com, but if #98 is Jerrod Black, he may be coming into his own. On several reps that were shown, he was the only guy able to get a push at the point of attach. Trey Baysinger looked really good from the OL position too. He might evolve into a right tackle yet....He's got the frame and it appeared that when he engaged someone that the push from the defender pretty much ended right at the point of attack!!!!
Not getting all crazy over it, simple observation - but loved hearing Wally's interview that talked about how our defense was going to be real vanilla in the spring game. That for some reason made me laugh because what was running through my mind was that his vanilla defense may be more complicated then the game plans of last fall!!!!!:chatterbox::chatterbox:
