Yeah they lost a ton, including their heart and soul and one of the best players in all of CFB last year, Duggan.Didn't TCU lose, like, EVERYONE from last year's team?
They lost almost everyone. They reloaded some with the portal, but they will be taking a tremendous step backDidn't TCU lose, like, EVERYONE from last year's team?
That's true, but you can max out credit cards and leave yourself without money to pay other expenses. The betting apps these kids are using are not issuing large lines of credit like bookies in the old days. You have to put in money in advance,
Actually you cant. Most of the apps wont let you use credit cards, since those transactions can be canceledThat's true, but you can max out credit cards and leave yourself without money to pay other expenses.
Farley wants the Hok job when pops retires. I think they buy out Kleiman with the hope he can coach in the new BIG.For the life of me I cannot figure why Farley would "hate" Iowa State.
Iowa State plays them nearly every year and gives them a pretty good chuck of change for doing so. Iowa does not. UNI's budget gets a big lift from this game. Not that I expect him to get down on his knees and kiss Pollard's ring or anything like that, but for him to HATE Iowa State seems bizarre
From my view, Farley has that "big frog in a small pond" attitude about him anyway.
Sorry to have derailed this thread a little.
I thought you couldn't use credit to gamble in Iowa by law or is that just the Lottery in Iowa?Actually you cant. Most of the apps wont let you use credit cards, since those transactions can be canceled

Maybe both are true?I thought you couldn't use credit to gamble in Iowa by law or is that just the Lottery in Iowa?
Yeah, I'm asking. If it is Iowa law it would be more than 'most apps' but totally precluded.Maybe both are true?
Our O line coach always told our back to watch our asses. That is where you run take what you are given. Stunts/defensive calls change everything . Having a back who can see or sense what is happening is huge.If our OL can actually move guys, idc who’s back there.
truthfully im not sure. I always thought it was an app thingYeah, I'm asking. If it is Iowa law it would be more than 'most apps' but totally precluded.
Not trying to disagree with you, just wondering out loud.
He's 60 years old.Farley wants the Hok job when pops retires. I think they buy out Kleiman with the hope he can coach in the new BIG.
He's 60 years old.
I think he kind of looks at this year as his last chance to make a big run and then semi-retire to a fundraising job. The next guy is on staff.
Iowa isn't going to look at him and shouldn't look at him. That's lunacy.
Why not just retire? He's gotta have plenty of money to ride off into the sunset.
He's repeatedly said he's going to give back to UNI and do everything he can to help the athletic department until he's physically unable to do it.Why not just retire? He's gotta have plenty of money to ride off into the sunset.
UNI ranked at #23 in FCS preseason poll. Farley won't sniff any job in Iowa City. He's 60 years old.
