Dude! How can I choose?!? The first records I bought were Foreigner 4 and Journey Escape. My first concert was Styx during the Kilroy Was Here tour

I....I....I just can't make a choice here

All great bands. This thread is bad and the OP should feel bad.

I went Journey over Foreigner because every time I hear a Foreigner song, it gets stuck in my head for hours. It's got to the point where I have to change the channel when they come on the radio or I'm going to be singing their song in my head the rest of the day...

Double Vision is the only one that I don't switch off any more. And sometimes Jukebox Hero.

Of the three, I would begrudgingly choose Foreigner. I respect the musical talent of all three of these groups but really don't care to listen to their music.

The fact that I feel that way about all three says that there must be something specific about the genre I just don't get, but I can't place my finger on what it is.

Styx > Journey > Foreigner

For me, I don't tend to get tired of hearing old Styx songs....similar but a little less so for Journey songs. The same can't be said for Foreigner. If I never hear Hot Blooded again, I'll be just fine. I mean, the hook was kinda of cool when I was a kid (the lyrics were never that great), but now it is just a tired old song to me.

Not exactly sure.
Not a huge fan of any of them. About like listening to Asia for me. If it comes on, probably won't change, but won't look for it.

I would have to by default go with journey though. Seems to get the 35-45 yo women going. Which is my wheelhouse.
