Looking into tickets for the game at Allen Fieldhouse. I remember some sections being general admission. Does anyone know which sections these are and what the process looks like ( how early you need to get there, etc)?

The student section is General Admission. Parking is not bad. I always got there early and take in the atmosphere. You pay to park at a private parking lot and walk about 3 blocks. I've gone the last 2 years and have found premium seats on StubHub. I paid $250 per seat but it was worth it. Easier to get tickets there than Hilton. It was during the week and this year's game is on a Saturday so that might be different.

Out of all the home games for KU (except UK), ISU is the most expensive game on stubhub.

I've been the last 2 years. I believe the tickets behind the baskets are general admission, I wouldn't recommend those, as college fans can be ****** bags (myself included). I payed about 145 a piece last year to sit in one of the back rows one section to the left of behind the basket... seats were just fine. I have stayed at the Baymont Inn for $75 a night and it is good for that price. Parking, I just park on a street somewhere a half mile away and walk. If you're contemplating going just do it. It's been an awesome time and we lost both games I've been to. I will go until we beat them down there, as watching those guys walk out of Phog Allen with their heads hung low is a life long dream.

IMHO the Iowa State tickets are going to be a premium ticket this year compared to last 2 years. Game is on a Saturday and Kansas fans are starting to figure out this is going to as good a game to watch as any conference game.

I paid $160 each for 2 seats last year for row 20 Corner 14. View from our seats was OK, Kansas fans were actually nice. They have really good pre-game videos, and they have some cool chants, but they get annoying. I will probably go again this year. The wheel house bar seemed to have several Cyclones before/after the game.

General Admission tix will be on sale prolly in January. Knowing it is the senior night (for Selden and Ellis) and I am sure tix price will be higher on secondary market.
