Not a crazy prediction at all. I have us going 3-5 but if we go 2-6 we will likely be in last place in the conference.

Even with the schedule issue we face, I don't know how you can pick us last. Look at Kansas. They went 1-7 in conference, and were one overthrown pass away from 0-8. They lost all their weapons on offense, and the D sucked last year to begin with. On top of that, they are breaking in a new coach who has a resume consisting of one decent season in a terrible conference.

Plenty of questions around CU and KSU too. But then again, if I were looking for a knowledgeable writeup and prediction for the Big 12, I would go to just about anyone on the planet before I would go to Keeler.

Okay, if he was writing for a paper in Kansas City I could see him picking ISU last, but he is writing 30 miles from Ames. I don't see a lot of difference between KSU, MU, KU CU and ISU. You think the guy would be a little bit of a homer because of his proximity to ISU. Oh well, the Clones will just have to prove him wrong, again..............

His logic is severely flawed. IMO-Baylor and CU will have to beat each other in order to go bowling. So whoever wins that game has a shot to bowl but the other is out.
KSU beat KU and CU last year and has an easier schedule than CU and KU has a new staff.. I just don't see KSU finishing below those two teams.

I have no issue with anyone picking ISU last in the North. The schedule is what it is and we could go anywhere from 2-10 to 9-3 in my mind.

The only thing that's upset me in the slightest from the Rag was Randy Peterson saying that Texas and Oklahoma will be tough for ISU because both teams are coming off their bye weeks - Texas actually plays Nebraska the week before they play ISU. It's a small detail, but I don't think the register would have missed a detail on the Hawks schedule...
