I very, very seldom listen to the 2 early morning guys as they're a joke but thought I'd tune in on the way to work at 6 AM to see what they might say about the ISU - IA game. Instead, they spent the first 5-10 min. right out of the shoot talking about the Wisconsin coaching situation, then followed up on some situation at Webster City HS involving 2 wrestling coaches until they faded (which doesn't take too far from DM) about 6:20. Maybe these 2 stories make the top of their or your list on Monday morning after a busy sports weekend, but not mine.

Not saying you are wrong, but I think they typically talk about Iowa and ISU during the peak drive times for most people.

I say this as I am already at work, so I wouldn't know. I like music in the mornings.

Yeah, the first hour today was an hour none of us can get back. Total waste talking about the Webster City deal. I couldn't listen to 2nd hour, so I heard nothing about Friday's game.

I stopped listening to KXNO until after 8am now because A) they don't really have any good content about local sports and B) they are neither funny nor entertaining (and I like low-brow, sophomoric humor as much as the next guy)

KXNO has always been a joke of a station, going back to the days of Jim Zabel and his cheerleading for all things Choke Eye.

I'm not convinced that either of them watch any sort of sporting events to be honest. It seems like they try to find one "controversial" view and drill it. Then try to convince any callers they take that their view is actually wrong.

I do like listening to Murph & Andy, or Murph & whoever else is on, in the afternoons though.

I listened between the 7:00-7:30 hour mark and heard them only talk about UFC and how important the INU, UI game is for both teams.

Guess we covered both hours and found exactly what we all expected.

Thanks, reasonable point. However, IMO, the majority of the show could be recapping the ISU-IA game and various ramifications. Also, there are many current opportunities of good discussion other than WI football and Webster City coach problems.

I like listening to Travis and Ross. I think Ross has some good insights, and Travis is a conspiracy theorist. But this morning's show was pretty slow, although I did get the Pat Milletich (sp?) question correct.

We all need to make an effort to call in for the Penalty Box on Friday and toss those two losers into it.

They would get off too much if we called the penalty box and threw them in. Then it would give that Hawk fan fuel to try to make even more witty and smart remarks about ISU and their fans. The guy calls in every week trying to be funny and act like he's calling the Jim Rome Show.

If you want things to change.. Stop listening...

KXNO mission statement regarding Iowa State If it's negative cover it continually, if it's positive mention it maybe once.
If it wasn't for women's bb and StL baseball, and coaches call in shows, I would never turn it on.

27 minutes into the first hour podcast before then mentioned the game and all they talked about was Fran being calmer in the sidelines then started talking the Southern game
