Kolat new Navy coach

I see that Kolat has been announced as the new wrestling coach for the Naval Academy. After reading his coaching bio it got me wondering why he had gotten a shot at a more prominent school? He looks to have paid his dues as an assistant for a number of years. One would think given his wrestling acumen and time served in assistant roles and the HC at Campbell he would be a wanted commodity.

I wouldn't want to wrestle a midshipmen or a cadet for that matter. I'm confident in my scraping abilities, but I am old.
