Same poll as last week, different hated rival.

What are your predictions for this weekend?

What do you think the difference makers will be?

Picking KSU to win so that I can be happy when I'm wrong! In past years we looked bad against teams like UNI and then played better as the season goes on. I'm just hoping this is our bad game. We didn't play that well against Baylor but at least I expected to lose that game and in reality we had our chances.

Low scoring. We disrupt KStates run game and KState has a good pass rush so they disrupt our passing game. Hopefully Brock can play and Gilbert has some confidence and can make a couple FGs.

ISU 24-13. We want whatever dumb@ss trophy (or not) that they are giving out for Farmageddon more than they do.

Ya, crazier things have happened but don't have a good feeling for this one. Maybe it's because the stench is still lingering from last week's loss, for me. Or its KSU and I still have visions of Sproles running a 70 yarder on us, and his clone is back to do more of the same. DAMN I HATE K-STATE!

Take away Tulane and KSU is averaging 40pts against Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech. Not world-beaters on defense this year. Likewise, KSU's defense is middle-of-the-road nationally so will give up some points.

KSU struggles with passing at 139 YPG (122nd in the nation) but has a potent rushing attack at 267 YPG (3rd in the nation). I think we can handle that, but the lack of speed in our backfield is going to be tested at every angle.

When it comes to scoring, ISU is 155th in the country (******* ouch) at 26 PPG and 111th in rushing at 112 YPG. That will not equate to success going forward.

It's all going to come down to if our Offense can score once across mid-field. Last week was a huge failure in that regard. They could get some traction on plays early in drives but couldn't do much when it mattered. I think we got across mid-field something like 7 times and we know how that ended. Whatever the reason(s), that can't happen against better teams.

I really struggle with this game because I could see us winning by 10 or losing by 10. Going to need another night to sleep on it.

So I have a constant guess with toss up games involving Iowa State

Start slow and losing at half

Come back from half and the defense rules

Offense slowly crawls back into it

We get the ball with 2 minutes to go

Offense turns it over around the 50

K State wins by 5

Feels like a replay of the Baylor game to me. I expect to have a chance to win, but KSU slowly wears us down and pulls away. 28-10

I predict lots of going for it on 4th down rather than trying a field goal. We'll convert just enough of them to win 21-20.
