Is the worst looking artificial field I have ever seen on any college level, and high school level. Anyone know why? Looks like they needed to repaint the lines 20 years ago. It almost seems like they added about 2 inches too much of the rubber pellets. It looks horrible on HD.

I heard that the rubber pellets may be rising up due to static electricity. Last week Baylor put a bunch of fabric softener on their field turf and it looked great.

Amazing... "Turf Management" involves fabric softener!

The natural turf at JTS is beautiful, probably one of, if not the best in the country!

I hope they never change it.

Yep, it's horrible looking. They are redoing it after this season.

My wife (KSU grad) said they are giving natural grass serious consideration.

I would have hated to see what JTS looked like in HD with the old turf
