Loved this one about ALL Big 12 teams:
"I've spent my whole life looking down my nose at these teams. Not gonna start caring about them in March. They're the ones who need KU's success to prop them up, not the other way around. We can stand on our own, thanks."

That is tramp stamp levels of classy there. Like wearing pajama pants to Christmas dinner classy. Why does one get the feeling "his whole life" is maybe fifteen years or so?

HA this dude! Oh I love this one.

I'm rooting for Iowa St. to lose in the 1st round. Their fans walked into our backyard with a new found cocky attitude, as if they were Kentucky or Ohio St. fans. They infiltrated the P and L district and were too stupid to realize that 40,000 fans can't fit into the 19,000 seat Sprint Center. KU's pep rally was 15 percent kansas fans. They have an inferiority complex that didn't used to be that way. 6 years ago, their fans would come to KC and buy you a beer and talk basketball. Not anymore. They need to be put in their place.

Not our fault your school located 40 miles away from the tournament site can't turn out more fans. We did our part to show up. Don't blame us for your poor attendance in your backyard. Many of us came down just to be there, hoping to get tickets but plans to enjoy ourselves if we didn't, and we were quite ok with that just to enjoy the experience of being with our fans and team during some nice weather at a great venue. That's not inferiority, that's just passion. We walked in as Cyclone fans! That's who we are. If anything some of these Jayhawk fans have an insecurity complex. I missed the Big 12 rule that says we must bow down and let them have everything - even when they're not trying in their backyard or claiming "it's a meaningless three day tournament."

Sad thing is, that guy is actually more like 40-something I'll bet. The entitlement is strong with that one.

Here nor there
The density of Walmart t-shirt wearing prairie trash is high in KU land, hence the ignorance. Quite enjoyable.

Of course, you have to appreciate KU and their purple twin for being the only other Big 12 schools to care about basketball. Louisville would have been a nice addition.

You all who went down to KC should be ashamed. First you didn't cheer for KU against TCU and then you didn't bring any girls for this classy gentleman to have his way with when he was drunk. You are all awful people and should feel terrible for letting this happen.
First off, if you're going to come down here en masse like that, at least you'd think they'd manage to bring a along a few decent looking chickies for me to prowl on when drunk, but no...instead they show up with ugliest and oldest fan base this guy has ever encountered. And to the bolded point, they should be proud of the fact that they've now apparently reached KSU/Mizzou Fan status as they were loudly cheering for TCU when I was watching the game at the Flying Saucer last Thursday. Pretty **** move that yes, smacks of an inferiority complex, especially considering they were the defending tourney champs and 2-seed coming in. Fck those hayseeds and fck any KU fan that wants them to go deep unless it's on my kock.

Who types some of this garbage into the reply box, reads it, and goes "yep, I think this post makes me come off pretty well."?

Love it. Was thinking of starting a similar thread. Is it just me, or does anyone else absolutely LOVE that this team/fanbase that they claim to care nothing about makes them so freaking mad? It's brilliant. Us ISU fan's aren't out here to be your best buddy and worship KU's history books with you, we want to see our squad dethrone you.

I went over there and read 4 pages and I'm not seeing the big deal. At least 1/2 of them said they always cheer for everyone in the Big12. Yes, there were some that said they root against ISU. If you said the same thing on CF you'd get the same reaction. I think what's worse is when ISU fans go over on that board and cry about KU hating ISU. I think it's better to just stay away and let them cry. They know that ISU is the better team, they know their fans don't bring it like ISU fans, etc.

This guy did his part (and I guarantee our ladies are way out of his league):

Plus any girl looks sexier in cardinal and gold over blue, we all know that.

Every fan base has a 5% lunatic rate. The 5% loonies for ISU annoy the 5% loonies for KU and the 5% loonies for KU annoy the 5% loonies for ISU. It's nothing new. Remember that the primary ISU voice over there is that little nutbag high school kid that got banned from this site. As stated 90% of the posts are about how most KU fans are cheering for ISU to rep the Big 12 well.

IMO I wish there were more fanbases like ISU and KU in our conference. KSU is like that when good I suppose.

That's not a good representation of their fan base. How would you feel if someone made a sweeping generalization and said all ISU fans are like BDK?

I always cheer for big 12 teams outside of conference play, even Kansas. (must be destroyed)
