I’ll admit I’m a 100% jealous Iowa State fan, but I hate getting fed the defensive media line that it’s raising the profile of WBB yet the only media WBB coverage is of 1 team and basically 1 player.
That said, damn she keeps on delivering every night.
Take that line out and you would be correct.
Just was going to post this. Don’t think our game was mentioned at all during the show. Didn’t catch the entire two hours though.
I missed the second hour....but wow how is that defensible other than to admit you like Iowa better.
It is a bit frustrating that ISU women beating a ranked team that had only lost 1 game and they had to come from behind to do it too barely gets much time and takes a backseat to Clark beating a mediocre team by 25 and gets another triple double well after the game was already decided. I'm not rooting for this to happen but if she were to get injured late in a blowout game because they left her in to get another triple double does the media question the decision/logic of leaving your star player in blowout games during garbage time just to pad some of her stats?
Miller and Condon went on their usual day-after-game rant about ISU fans not exalting Clark enough, then immediately transitioned to trashing Brock.

Anybody trashing Brock at this point, cannot be taken seriously. They are nothing more that ISU haters and don't understand journalistic integrity. If you are going to trash Purdy, you better have some irrefutable facts backing up your argument. Neither she nor the Sisters were brought up until Bill Seals came on. Who said we were coming off a nice win at WVU which seemed odd. Nobody corrected him.

And on top of it…. Crooks and Purdy are 2 athletes you could teach your children to emulate on the court too. Crooks has the greatest personality of any ISU athlete I can remember…. just great! But that means nothing.
We, as Iowa State fans, are frustrated by the lack of coverage for our teams, but can you imagine how the Drake or UNI fans feel about the amount of coverage they get from our local media?
I just don't understand the mentality behind their approach to all this. Sure, give CC her due in one segment. But then move on in another segment about Crooks, then move on and talk about Drake in the next segment, etc.

Sorry I know Clark is a national phenomenon not seen since Lebron, but in Ohio anyway no one even knew she was playing a game last night. So what did she do?
Women’s basketball is so hot right now that I had to scroll down past “Equestrian” on the CbS app to get scores, and the box score is just a quarter by quarter score breakdown with no individual player stats.
