I listened to Murph & Andy live. Pretty disappointed with episode one. They broke down the Iowa game for about 10-15 minutes. Then spent 10 minutes on Caitlin's latest praise. Then into their throwdowns, more, and sound clip segments. No breakdown of the Iowa State game. I think they mentioned the game's score. But that was about it. If this is how it's going to be, I'm out. I expected more equal coverage.
SoundOff and their KXNO show were like that for many years, not surprised they're no different here. It's a little better during basketball season but still a disproportionate amount of Hawk Talk especially when the Iowa women are good. I think it's because they're state-level media personalities so they play to the larger audience/fanbase.

probably better than Hawkeye morning rush. arrogant hawks bashing the game. can't wait until this week is over.
Every time I come to this thread makes me happy I haven't listened to 1 second of the KXNO crap since CW left. There isn't a show on that channel I have missed one tiny little bit.
They sure talk a lot about a game they don't care about as much as us.
I love the line “this is your Super Bowl”. Fun fact, since CMC has been at ISU, ISU and UI have the same amount of conference championship wins, and playoff wins
I want to listen to something else. Only local thing of interest right now. Its going to get worse, the expansion was into EIU territories, so the community college fans will be lapping it up.

Shocker! So yet another Hawkeye based show on IE, this time from Murph and Andy. Not much of a deviation from their KXNO days. I would respect them both soooo much more if they were at least honest about their fandom.
In that timespan, only one team played for conference title and actually had a legit chance to win in the 4th quarter, and only one team has won a NY6 bowl.
This rubs them the wrong way when it dawns on them that it isn't their team

I'm getting closer to no longer listening to Iowa Everywhere if there is no Cyclone coverage. Chris tries so hard to be "balanced" by discussing the Hawks that he forgets to bring up Iowa State at all. If Murph and Andy aren't going to even mention Iowa State's games, why should I even listen?

Then just listed to CF. I mean there's an entire podcast network ran by the same person that is solely dedicated to Iowa State content
