I mean, they both said they hate how Campbell is so protective of making sure no injury statuses get out. They've both hated that about him for a long time, and it's come up many times, seemingly mostly because of how it messes with their ability to bet on the games.

Condon didn't say he "hates" CMC, though.
Yeah, didn't say "hate", just said he couldn't stand him. LOL.

The honest take. They were VERY complimentary to ISU fans (and Iowa) for the numbers making the bowl trips. They don't hate CMC, they just don't like the non-disclosure/lying about injury stuff.
They said more bowl games need to be like the pop tart bowl and said it was one of the most entertaining bowl games.

The people that give ISU fans a bad name are usually the hypersensitive ISU fans that think if there isn't 100% effusive praise for Iowa State then the Cyclones are being slighted. This schtick is so tiresome.

They talked more about the players sitting out situation than anything else. I don't have a problem with them talking about it but they were way over the top on it.

I hadn't really noticed but it seems like they must have cut ties completely. The CF crew even went to Vegas recently and I don't recall them mentioning Circa. I don't pay much attention to the advertiser spots on CF pods so I hadn't thought about it much.

I also apparently missed out on the creepy comments from Palm on Amber Alexander.

That episode with him on Firmly entrenched I think? Was so uncomfortable.
I need a little history here. I didn’t realize IE cut ties with Circa and totally missed the Amber creepy thing. In full disclosure I never gave a rip about Circa and tuned all that talk out anyway.

He just kept joking about how dumb it was that IE had a “weather girl” but “he could see why”. Kept saying really inappropriate things about her.

I'm not at all into gambling on sports, especially on Iowa State (the games stress me out enough without having money on the line!) but I totally get it as a hobby for those who enjoy it. But that's all it is (a hobby). We don't need to upend the injury reporting practices of the entire sport so that it makes a hobby easier.

Not that I heard, but he announced it a while ago. They are mad that CMC didn't announce ISU opt outs before game time. Said the fans were mad about it too.

That’s the difference between Pantherhawks and ISU fans. We would never get mad at our own guys not playing in a meme bowl. I wouldn’t have been mad if Rocco had sat out actually. He’s too important to next year with the WR group we’re losing.

Bingo. It's the people in sports talk that have absolutley ruined it for me (cough Condon cough). Betting on sports is fine but good god, it doesn't need to consume every conversation.

I turned into the noon show today for the first time in a long time, it will be a long time before I listen again. They spent most of the first segment making ISU fans look bad and ripping on CMC over the guys that opted out. Man has that show gone downhill.
i can listen to that - the worst is heather and lucas and 2 pm…got in my car a few weeks ago at 4, turned it on, and heather had a whole segment on invisible dog fences…like what

If he’s pissy about it, it should be toward the Big 12 conference. Why would you divulge anything unless required? Thats stupid.

You are being too logical. LOL.

They said even if the Big 12 made the coaches do that, then something close like CMC might quit or at very least would begrudgingly do it. It's plain their disdain is focused on him. I think it's jealousy of where ISU is compared to their beloved Iowa.

Fans were upset because they were going through warm-ups and then came out in street clothes right before the game. The communication made it sound like they decided to opt out in the locker room right before the game.

Wasn't at least Higgins still in pads? He certainly wasn't in street clothes.

I don't care or need it for gambling, but the conference should absolutely mandate injury reports. There's a reason the NFL does.

Additionally, Miller or Condon claimed that CMC was attempting to gain an advantage by keeping the opt-outs a secret. An advantage, in my opinion, would be to let Miami know they were opting out days before the game so Miami would game plan without them and then have them show up and play.
