Hey anyone remember that kick he had against Iowa. He’s been bad since that.
The kid was a stud for us this year.
He’s been solid all year, Big 52 yd kick in the Cinci game that really swung momentum in that game I thought.
2 missed XPs and 76% ain't great, but he did make big ones
He’s been fine. 13/14 under 40. 6/11 40 yds and above. He’s not great but fine as a college kicker.
He’s a solid kicker. Mid pack % wise, but his distance potential has him trying a few others in the past would not.
He's been...fine. It feels like he misses every fourth kick which is fitting for a ~75% kicker. He's got the range to hit from anywhere but his accuracy is inconsistent enough that he can miss from anywhere too. For all the good and bad that goes with that.
He’s a redshirt freshman. 3 more years of Kyle would be fantastic

What’s not decent is the fact we have to have a freshman kicker in the first place.
Lot of pressure on him to kick so many FG's because we couldn't score TD's. Through games today he is Top 10 in FG attempted and FG's made. Percentage is below the absolute best kickers in the country (but better than average) and a number of them weren't asked to do what he had to this season. which was to bail out stalled drives.
Some weird comments in here. Not like his kicking was a factor in this game that we just lost by 50 touchdowns. FG kicking isn't a problem we need to fix to be better next year.

It would help perception if the misses weren’t of the “that never had a chance” variety
Which game did his kicking lose us a game? Then we will discuss which games his kicks won us some games.
lol. Dude is as mid of kicker as you get. But I guess in comparison to most ISU kickers sure.
Iowa State didn't lose today because of missed field goals but you go off king
