Looks like the guy on KXNO for handicapping is taking Iowa: https://paramountsports.com/football/iowa-state-vs-iowa/

He says Ferentz knows how to win this rivalry now, lol. Well, Iowa was extremely luck to win in Ames two years ago, and last year's game in Iowa City was 6–3 until late 4th against a much inferior quarterback playing for us.

So by that logic ISU will never will again while Ferentz is at the helm since he "knows how to win this rivalry".

PAt Forde picked Iowa because ISU can't handle the pressure as they showed against UNI.

11/13 "expert" picks for ESPN are picking Iowa.

The general public all think Iowa wins, therefore ISU wins this by at least 10 and everyone is shocked...

It isn't surprising because the data is showing Iowa should win but a big part of that is that ISU hasn't had another game so it is impossible to tell what ISU really is yet. That is why I wouldn't bet this game.

But, Colin Cowherd is taking Iowa State 30-24 over Iowa. Says Brock Purdy is the difference.
The ITFID lives on.

The KXNO National show, The Herd. I think. Just picked ISU to win and cover as one of his three picks this week.

It’s reflective of having another data point, but also reflective of the inherent advantage of having twice as many games.

Improvement is an iterative process. Iowa is further removed from their 10-7 half against UNI-like Miami of Ohio. Granted, Iowa turned it on in the second half, whereas we pissed ourselves on offense.
