That coach has some serious issues with time management. I suggest he stop taking classes taught by the Chiz. The way he mismanaged the ending of his last two games is pathetic. Glad I'm not a LSU fan, lol.

He's so poor at managing the clock that it literally pisses me off! And yet, he just stands there with a grin on his face.

I think Chris Berman needs to be on the sidelines with this guy at the end of the game.

That was a terrible personal foul call at the end of the game. You cannot decide the outcome of a game like that. The Penn State player was laying on top of the LSU player, not moving and the lineman just tried to pull him off to get things going. Terrible.

Why did he use his last timeout when PSU was on their 5, with over 2 minutes in the game? Even if PSU scored they were going to leave atleast a minute left on the clock. That timeout is crucial then.

Les Miles is not a $4 million per year coach...period. Nice guy, OK coach, but not an elite coach from either a recruiting, coaching, or gameplanning standpoint.

Having said that, playing in that slop really negated the speed advantage that LSU had against Penn State.

Great point. Put him at a mid level school and he won't do much. He should have left after he won the Natl. Champ. with Saban's players because he won't get to that level again.

Precisely why I was not upset when he didn't go to Michigan. I just don't see it.

That smile is not smug, it is confusion.

As a LSU fan I WAS (strong on the was) glad to see him stay at LSU. However, if he is not in the National title game in 2010 he should be gone. There have been people calling for his job the last two years and I had been a Miles defender until now.

He is 8-8 in the SEC during the last two years, he has as much or more offensive talent as any team in the nation and LSU ranked something like 105 in total offense this year.

He has taken an LSU team that was ready to dominate the decade and tooled it into an average SEC team. Man, I hope Michigan fires Rodriquez and comes after Miles again.

I think you really need to look at a coach's conference record to see what trajectory the program is on under them.

If you look at Miles while at Okie St you will see that they showed some improvement in conference under him but not steady and dramatic improvement...they were 4-4 his last year. Look at what Gundy has done there and it is much more impressive...steady progression to 6-2 in conference this past year.

Take a look at Saban...clearly a guy deserving of his $4 million plus salary. He has shown improvement in conference play everywhere he has been...Michigan St, LSU, and now Alabama.

Look at Miles conference record at LSU and you can see he is moving in reverse. Again, he is clearly not a guy that should be in the $4 million salary range in CFB.

For comparison's sake, take a look at Dan McCarney's conference records at ISU...in 12 years he won 0 or 1 game in conference 7 times. Only one time in 12 years did he have a winning conference record (5-3 in year 6 of his tenure).

I don't.

So you pee yourself when you are hard in the morning, laying there, thinking of Les? Literally?

Before we engage in wild accusations and conjecture, reread the post. There was no mention of time of day.
