Let’s not. Did they factor? Yes, but they didn’t cause the loss.
They were bad, but they didn't have 7 false starts. Offensive line lost us the game

They forgot to call a few false starts on Washington State
We lost but when u call penalties on us and not them. It’s BS
And a couple of obvious holds
Missed False Start on final back shoulder throw.
Missed catch by Eaton, no review cost us final timeout
Missed false start on WSU touchdown at back of endzone
Missed PI in the end zone on Butler with DB holding down his entire left arm
These were the most egregious to me.
Not to mention the second targeting

They weren't great by any stretch but there's enough blame to go around on turnovers and penalties that were significantly bigger factors than anything the stripes did.
Yes they directly impacted the outcome of the game.
Missed false start on WSU TD. Maybe they only get a field goal there.
Eni targeting was a horrible call. If he’s in the game, maybe they get one of those sacks.
Eaton “drop” was a catch. Extends the drive and maybe ISU scores.
Those are only the big ones. Who knows what else they missed or got wrong.
Butler literally shoved the guy out of the way so I'm cool with letting them play.
Its only about the money. That review that took 2 sec was not a review. Just took our timeout and plày on.
Called 7 on us missed an obvious that gave them 7. I know we can be sanctimonious and say refs don’t lose games, but this was atrocious
Pretty sure there was a missed false start on the last play of the game too
what is there to say? They were the biggest reason Iowa State lost. never fails.
Also Surprised no review on Montgomery fumble.
