More like reacting to fans who are uneducated in sporting rules.

You dopes boo like children in Hilton as well for every call against the Cyclones.

Sad!

Hehe, MC says he was upset about the lack of communication from the ref's about the targeting calls. I guess that was what he said.

Big 10 refs decided to make a statement tonight. Pac-12 needed a bowl win, badly. The Big 10 wanted to help them. And the Big 12 took the Big 10s playoff spot. Lots of bias against Iowa State in this one.

Let’s not. Did they factor? Yes, but they didn’t cause the loss.

Their horribly wrong calls definitely could have swung the game 2 points. Easily. To say otherwise is to live in an alternate reality.

I get why it's more comfortable for some people to live in total delusion, I just can't ever get to that place.

This thread is another example of why many Iowa State fans get laughed at. Christ what a bunch of cry babies.

Laughed at by whom? I don't give two ***** what Hawk fans think.

Just watch certain parts of the game over and over again, I can confirm the REFS SCREWED US ROYALLY.. Pretty much Robbed us.

WSU would have had to settle for a field goal if they call the blatant FALSE START.

FINAL SCORE : ISU 27- WSU 24

I agree we made too many mistakes. Can’t start the game with an INT and what should have been a pick 6. Plus so many false starts. The OL sucks.
But you overcome all that. Then run a QB sneak on the 1 yard line where the QB dives forward and the review says the call “Stands”. WTF!! Stands? Not confirmed?! That’s a horrible officiating crew.

Calling that "stands" instead of confirmed was a HORRIFIC call.

Any official who does an even remotely passable job says that is CONFIRMED. He was in by 4 feet. They were horrific officials and the calls definitely favored the team that barely one by 2 points.

I know they missed calls (probably some for both teams) and have missed calls before, but I get kind of tired of blaming the refs for every loss.

I blame officials for this loss.

I blame officials for the KSU loss last season. That's 2 of the past 26 games, 2 of the past 10 losses.

Did we only lose two games the past two years and I missed that we played in the National Championship game?

Quit exaggerating and rationalizing to make yourself feel better.

We blame the refs when it is their fault. Last year we beat KSU, refs changed the result. This year we very likely outplayed WSU and the refs one sided officiating more than likely turned the game. Live in reality, it's hard sometimes but you're better off in the end.

I’m not totally convinced about the fumble either, but hard to say since they showed two quick angles and then Washington State was snapping the ball.

All in all though, we don’t make our mistakes, we win the game.

Why does one team need to play flawless and even have some great plays destroyed by bad officiating while the other gets to make all kinds of mistakes the refs ignore?

You can play a less than perfect game and still get dicked by the refs to the point where it costs you the game.

You could just as easily say: If WSU's mistakes were called, they lose the game.

It's the other side of the "If ISU played perfect" coin. WSU made all sorts of sloppy mistakes they got a pass for because the officials didn't do their job at an acceptable level.
