When people ask, How are things going? I respond- I am living the dream but nightmares are a type of dream too.

When the talk moves to the weather, I respond- With weather all we can really do is discuss it and cuss it.

When you ask someone how they're doing and they say, "I can't complain," I like to say, "Sure you can, you're just not trying hard enough."

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

Red sun in the morning, sailors take warning
Red sun at night, sailors delight

Weather beacon red, warmer weather is ahead
Weather beacon white, colder weather is in sight
Weather beacon flashing night or day, precipitation's on the way

One that I've often thought about is:

Being normal is boring.

I just looked it up and I guess it's a quote attributed to Marilyn Monroe. I did not know that.

I always thought about that as a kid because I was a nerd and I didn't fit in most of the time. But when you think about it, everyone is different, so "normal" is just everyone trying to be the same, which is boring.

Not exactly sure.
Life is too short to worry about lies and coverups, so own your mistakes and be honest.

Although that has lead to my previous statement. You would be surprised how many people think you are an ahole when you are honest and not lie to them.

Not exactly sure.
Also, you learn more from failures than successes, so dont be scared to lose/fail.

I do disagree with Abe Lincoln a bit though, I believe it’s better to ask the dumb question and then learn the answer (and have people think your kinda a moron) then to keep your mouth shut and actually be dumb.
