Good article, but I don't think it gives enough emphasis to the amazing job CFH, the staff, and the players themselves did in order to become a team. On the surface, it might look like all you need to do is get a few talented transfers to come in and "boom", you've got a successful basketball team. Whether it's HS recruits or transfers, it takes a lot of work and effort to teach players your system and get them to mesh and gel...that doesn't happen by accident.

Yes! That's why I am just waiting for some of these teams this year who are doing the same thing to fall on their faces due to "chemistry issues". I will get a chuckle out of that and it will be doubly fulfilling if one of them is our friends from just south of the border.

I agree. The staff still has to blend all the diverse personalities, on and off the court, and have players accept their roles. That process is probably harder than getting them to come on board in the first place.

The best part is KU fan posting comments. Shows concern on his part. Love it. Fred is the man.

I think he's losing some of his hair, or at least has a receding hairline. I can't even imagine the Golden Boy being bald, but I'm sure he'd still rock it. Real hard. Like a boss.

My son is a student. Complains that the ladies are all more interested in CFH than him, losing out to a 40 year old with a bad ticker. Must be the hair (and the dreamy eyes and the money).:twitcy:

We certainly lost enough players transfering out so I make no apolgies for the transfers we have gotten.
