For those of you making the trip to Louisville, a few pointers. If you got to 4th st live, take some cash with you cause it isn't cheap. Go to the river at night and look around, very pretty. Go check out Churchill downs, dumpy but cool. The best place in my opinion is Bardstown rd. Good restaurants, bars and safe. If you drive around campus during the day it should be no problem, but at night between campus and 4th St I would be aware of my surroundings. Eastern half of city is pry where I would stay, western side gets pretty dicey. GO CLONES.

I had the pleasure of visiting Louisville in the Summer of 2010. 4th Street Live is very similar to the Power & Light District in Kansas City. For all of the ISU fans making the trip -- Enjoy & Go Cyclones!
Not making the trip, but if I were, this is where I would try to stay. there's not much else around which is a downfall, but it's right across the street from Freedom Hall.
