And it looks like you're picking out every worst case scenario possible because "WE ARE IOWA STATE"
This x1000. Where did everyone get the narrative that wining the Big-12 Tournament last year did nothing? We probably moved up a seed line from it. That’s about all that a good performance in a conference tournament will get you — A one seed bump.
I think everyone wanted to overreact to our performance last year and got upset when the committee didn’t give us a bigger bump. Now everyone is running with a mistaken narrative that the tournaments have never meant anything.
Explain this with real NCAA logic and not Lunardi...

This much volatility in the bracket the final weekend is not realistic. We will see what tomorrow brings.

It's not as bad as the CFP, not by a magnitude of 10, but it is definitely still there.
That would be consistent with what they've said in the past (though not as specific as that). Anyway, Palm and Lunardi should always be taken with a grain of salt, as they're always going to serve the SEC and Big 10.
If word is leaking were a 3 then there is a good plan to patch our injured guards together from the coaching staff imo.
