It doesn't sound like it was a matter of being bored. They said "let's go kill someone, who should we kill?" not "nothing better to do, let's kill that dude"

you're absolutely correct. The quotes I'd read didn't have the "we were bored" just the one kid (Luna, I think) telling police that they had decided to kill someone, and this kid was randomly selected.

Not sure if it being done out of boredom or because they just thought they wanted to is worse or better.....

It says they will be charged as adults with 1st degree murder.

I'm not normally a supporter of the death penalty, but I hope all three of these kids fry. Each one deserves it. If you have no respect for other human beings, you don't deserve ANY consideration to be able to live the rest of your life in any fashion whatsoever.
