You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine, it's that simple. I'm not just going to ignore his past problems now that he's been hired.

Neither of our opinions matter. Do you think your being skeptical of the hire matters, at all?

To others, probably not. But this is a message board where people tend to put their opinions, as I'm sure you've figured out.


I am excited about this hire. But Luth has a right to his opinion. He's usually correct. I think Mangino will bring an element of toughness to a unit that has been lacking for many years. I don't think that's a bad thing unless he crosses the line, but remember, CPR is in charge. I think it will be a great fit.

The guy's record at KU speaks for itself. Both ways. If I was the father of a high level offensive recruit, I'm not sure how I'd feel about this announcement. Obviously, CPR has considered this. Coach Mangino deserves an opportunity to prove himself at ISU as an OC. Gotta give the big man a chance.
