Yeah that tangent escalated quickly. It really got out of hand.
I just figured we didn't have much real info, so I didn't think it would be a huge problem.
My guess is we wont know for sure where this kid is committing for a LONG time. He'll be one of those big mystery guys who either blows up and never considers ISU again, or he stays a mystery until an official announcement is made by ISU.
Right now there's not much credible info, so we have to wait until ISU makes it official.
Exactly. Also, I was almost convinced that Cam Lard was imaginary and a catfishing attempt until I saw him in an ISU uniform.
So I'm in wait and see mode on Marcedus Leech. Another awesome name though.

I wish Robert Jordan could have finished the series, but I guess Brandon Sanderson did OK with it, though it felt like it ended a little abruptly with more chaos and fewer answers than I would have liked. (And yes, I suppose some would consider it poetic that the series ends but the Wheel still turns. Or something like that.)
Honestly, Jordan's story telling had slowed to a crawl, almost like a James Michener/Tom Clancy book, so having Sanderson come in to finish the series was a blessing. One could say the same about the Gunslinger series by Stephen King too.
I believe CW said he was going on vacation soon, so I expect an announcement this weekend.

I absolutely love the Wheel of Time series but I think it was losing cohesion even during the last books Jordan penned. I think it would have been that much better if he had been in full health and realized how helpful a little more condensing would be. The stage was expertly set with the first several books, but then it seemed to get stretched a bit too much. Still love the series and they are all time favorites. I will always be grateful to Sanderson for finishing Jordan's vision as seamlessly as realistically possible.
