March Madness Access

I remember last year CBS (or the NCAA or whoever) started charging for the online March Madness access for the first time. However, you could send a text to a certain number and receive a code that would allow you to watch again for free. I heard about that first on CF. I haven't seen anything like that this year. I can't find any information on the March Madness website about whether or not they will charge again this year (my guess is yes, since they say that it will be free for pay TV subscribers). So, does anyone know if there's a similar deal this year as last year? Or are people without cable/satellite left out in the cold this year? Thanks.

Access is free for people with cable or satellite subscription to log in and watch the games on the other channels.

This sucks. I'll be home over spring break and my parentals switched from DirecTV to just the basic channels so I'll only get to see games on CBS.

It was nice when they would just jump around on CBS and you could use the computer to watch whatever you wanted to.

I'm sure firstrow will help us out as well :)

Yes, I mentioned that (at least the important bit about pay TV subscribers having free access) in my post. My question was not answered in that paragraph, at least not that I'm seeing when reading through it. Please point out where it does if I'm wrong.
