I will have 2 to sell this year plus parking passes. Balcony around mid court, row 7. Do not know what the fair market value will be taking into account the sell out and donation.

Looking for feedback on FMV.

Thx.

I had 2 extra seats last year in corner section of balcony. Face value per ticket was around $11. I sold the crappy non-cons for $15-20. Weeknight conference for around $40. Weekend conference $50-$60. Didn't sell Kansas but thy would have moved easy for $120. I used StubHub and sold individual games.

If you sold them on a game by game basis, you would likely clear north of $1000 per seat on StubHub. Your seats would fetch $150 plus per seat for Iowa and KU. Probably $25 per game for the 7 mediocre games. The four Saturday conference games would be close to $100 each and the other 4 weeknight conference probably around $40-50 each.

If one person were to buy them all, maybe $900 per seat for a market value. Now, whether that is "fair" market or not is in the eye of the beholder but I believe it to be close to what they will bring if you wished to go through the StubHub route (and I may be underestimating their value given the quality of seat).

Honestly it depends if his two seats are actually in the middle two balcony sections.

Would love to know your secret on the non con games. I can't tell you how many donor seat tickets I left on the trash can last year during the non con. Probably around 15-20. I struggled to just give them away. How you could get 15-20 per for corner seats is beyond me.

I paid more for that for the non con games I went to in the corner.

I would use StubHub as a guide to some degree, but I think you can get more than some posters are saying. You can easily get $150-200 a ticket for a Saturday Kansas game for the seats you have, and probably for Iowa too. Like one poster said, you should get over $1000 per ticket, and for the corners you could probably get $600-700 per. It is a fluctuating market, but I think you could get quite a bit for them. storycy is the closest in his approximation, and I think $900 a ticket might be fair for someone picking them all up.

The non con games are worth more now because there is a track record of success. It is not wait and see if the team is good. We all know the team is good and there is demand. You won't get a ton for the patsies, but you can get $20 a ticket at least in many cases.

You can print your tickets as PDFs and upload them to stubhub for instant downloads where you get paid instantly as well. I would do that, I cleared 200 for the KU game alone.

I offered tickets to Arkansas for $10 a couple days before the game and couldn't get any takers on here, Craigslist or stubhub. Threw 5 tickets away. Maybe I will fair better this year.

Craigslist.

Edit - I see you tried that. My seats are in the lower level and I never have trouble selling them for any game.

This is a tough site to sell tickets on. It is a top-notch site, but selling tickets is extremely difficult. You have quite a few posters that want tickets for free or at a massive discount. The value of the basketball program does not justify having to do that. If you price basketball tickets for what the OP called FMV, you have many posters calling you out. I also have tickets in the lower level and like the poster above, I tend to take them to Craigslist and end up with numerous people willing to pay my asking price.

I have a friend that has two seats in the parquet and he want $3500.00 or best offer. He told me people can't buy them for that.
