Wow....people are going crazy over this swine flu stuff. I am betting that there will be many schools canceling this week. Weird, wild stuff.

It's about time someone at Iowa State takes one for the team so they cancel finals.

did a marshalltown kid get sick?

Today (May 1) Marshall County Public Health announced a PROBABLE case of Influenza A H1N1 (Swine Flu) in Marshall County. Official confirmation will come from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). The probable case is NOT from a school-age individual, nor do they have children in the District. There have been many rumors regarding cases of H1N1 in our District, but any confirmation will come from public health and no other sources.

How silly this all is. I was just in Houston this week, where they closed down several schools. And I was just on Marshalltown school grounds today. No symptoms.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a sudden urge to go roll around in the mud.
