Has anyone else been really disappointed with the attitude that JVB has displayed on the court. I love the fact that he really wants to do well and have success. But, his body language has been really disappointing. When things don't go well for him, he instantly starts pouting. Calls don't always go your way and shots don't always fall. Its life. Get over it, move on, play hard and be a leader like you should.

On the other hand, I think we have a great freshman leader in Ejim. He has a great attitude and plays hard.

Agreed. His body language seems so dejected. I'm sure he is really frustrated with how he has been doing lately, but it would be nice to see him just toughen up a little bit. He should snap out of it I hope.

JVB does get a little pouty when the calls go against him, but Ejim has been pouty when his offense is struggling.

The only "attitude" I want to see from our men's (and women's) basketball team is an us-against-the-world chip on their shoulders. Play every game as though no one respects you or gives you a snowball's chance in hell to win (and, in many cases, this isn't too far from the truth). Play every game as though you have something to PROVE.

Im not disappointed at all. This is how JVB always plays. I love the attitude of all the guys this year. Last night they looked like they were having so much fun. I havent seen ISU players celebrating and having so much fun on another teams court in a LONG time.

I believe we are seeing a true team this year. The last 4 years I believe the locker room was split on what the team should be doing, transfers, coaching situation, etc. This year they are in this together and look out for one another. I believe Fred is to credit for this is a direct reflection of his personality

He needs to learn to stand straight up, and not jump into opposing players to keep away from fouls. Offense or not, I thought we looked like a better defensive and rebounding team while he was on the floor against iowa.

Senior Vs. Freshman

JVB needs to be a leader

Completely agree, JVB needs to step it up. I was a bit surprised when he fouled out that he didn't get together the guys and try to get them fired up-- he was too busy whining about a call. DG was having an atrocious game shooting the ball and he was as emotional as I've ever see him-- the way a senior should act.

He's always been like this....he's the worst possible type of post player for the system....sure he can hit a 3 every blue moon....but he can't rebound to save his life....thats pretty pivotal for a center....

He's not a center, first of all. He's a F playing the 4-5. And as for not rebounding, didn't he have like 8 against Iowa? I could be wrong, but I thought CFH credited him for that in the postgame.
