McKay looks like he is having SO MUCH fun out there. You can tell that he loves his teammates and he loves the ISU fans. He just is such a positive energy guy. Love him!

I have to be honest. I love seeing inner city black guys like him and Kane come to Iowa State and end up just loving it, the fans, and all that comes with it. Not sure why.

I agree. Jameel is a kid who loves to play. He's turned into a leader on this team.

Eric also just gushed about Bryce on the post game. Talking about how he really likes Bryce and thinks he gets a bad rap from some. Says Bryce is a serious grad student and has been good to him. Nice to hear from someone who is around the kid.

He is my favorite clone in years. No hyperbole. He looked tired at points during the game. He and Hogue missed Spangler on final play...so glad the game ended the way it did.

It's amazing how much better kids play when they are happy and love what they are playing for.

A lot of people on this board have been idiots about BDJ from day one. Of course the deal with the apartment didn't help things, but some are just ridiculous.

I agree, so glad he missed. I was wondering what Hogue was looking at!

I know there are kids that go to all different programs and have life changing experiences, but it's better with ISU since we get the corn hayseed rap all the time.

My son(9) and I laughed at the slow motion where it looked like was in a five second "nooooooooooooooooooooooo" when that play happened. Watch it. Hilarious once we won.

McKay, Georges, Monte, Heck the whole team are great ambassadors for ISU. Fred does an amazing job blending all of this together and making it turn out so great for ISU.

Yeah, Hogue really missed the rotation there. The basketball gods were thankfully with him ( and us)! Hogue deserves that. Guy really plays hard.

I love Hogue and he can have some incredible hustle plays but he also gets lost on defense or doesn't close out on a good 3 point shooter too.

Watched the end of the game on my computer at work with 2 Iowa fan co-workers. Georges' post game interview just wowed one of them, and I was all "Yeah, he's always that awesome", then showed them the giant Georges from last year.

Does it bother anyone else that McKay is constantly referred to as a Marquette transfer. I know he technically is, but he never played there, didn't even practice. He's an Indian Hills Jr. College player to me.
