Myron Medcalf's 10 bold 2014 NCAA tournament predictions - ESPN

MSU seems to be the hot pick out of the east to make it to the final four, but Medcalf puts the other analysts on blast saying that ISU will come out of that region.

Also predicts KU to lose early without Embiid, and Baylor to go against Zona in the Elite 8.

He's been on the ISU bandwagon for awhile now, so seeing him pick us to win the East region isn't too surprising.

Iowa State in the Final Four -- The Cyclones have been one of the hottest teams in the country, winning eight of their past 10 games. They’re the Big 12 tournament champions and clearly a legit national title contender. It won’t be easy to reach Dallas with Michigan State, Connecticut, Villanova and North Carolina potentially standing in their way. But DeAndre Kane & Co. have been playing some of the best basketball in America throughout this fruitful stretch. Fred Hoiberg in Dallas? Count on it.

Why is the title of this thread about no BIG in the final four when it could easily have been "Iowa State in the Final Four"?

That was the title of the article when i clicked on it, even though bullet #1 is about ISU. Apparently ESPN thought they could get more clicks with a title putting down the Big 10 more than a title pumping up ISU, lol.

Also, didn't see there was already a thread on this article, feel free to merge mods.

I think this year's tournament is going to see so many upsets per the seed number. So many teams playing to different level than the seed. Brace yourself. This will be fun....
