Something to remember the past two years both of TJ's had some serious lulls towards the end of the season. The way our defensive scheme works thats hard to keep up for 31 games. I'm actually ok having more gimme games if that keeps us more fresh going into conference play.
We won't have to work so hard on D this year while scoring 80pts per game.

Home/Away
BYU
Houston
Kansas State
Oklahoma
TCU

Home Only
Kansas
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech
West Virginia

Away Only
Baylor
UCF
Cincinnati
Texas

I think this actually bodes well for us. With our "Home Only" games, especially. Those 4 places are tough to play on the road.

Love having to go to UCF/Cincinnati, too. Feels like winnable games.

I have to imagine the last time ISU and KU didn't do a home and home had to be prior to the Big 8. World War II era? That sucks

I care about getting Kansas here. I imagine that doesn't happen next year, but who knows, really.
We don't get Phogged this year. That seems like a kind of positive.
I’d say we still might play them twice next year. We at least get rid of OU and Texas.

I think it’s a pretty fair schedule. We got all the teams I really wanted at home (Baylor,KU,Houston,Oklahoma) was planning on going to the Kansas away game if we got it but don’t mind having the hardest game off the schedule, sucks we don’t get to pound Texas at home as a farewell

I know I can't believe people are that disappointed that we get to play KU in Hilton and do not have to go there. What a break.

I would have liked the KU game to be home and home and the houston game to be rotating. Just a damn shame the Big12 discarded a long standing series like that.
